CTEMF 2013 - CAPE TOWN ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL 12 - 17 February 2013
“The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival was a defining moment for the local electronic music scene, now clearly marked on the international map but more importantly in the hearts and minds of its South African followers.” – Whatsonincapetown.co.za, April 2012
March 2012 saw a selection of Cape Town’s electronic music scene come together in …

Richard the Third just sent through his latest production, a bootleg remix of the kwaito track Izinja Zam, by veterans of the genre, TKZee. Adding a great deal of wobble to the bass, this tune is large! Kwaito-Wobble is going to be the next big thing with this remix leading the …CoDeC Raving It Up With A New Track!

With the advancement of DJing technology over the past decade, these days, at least technically speaking, anyone can step up behind the booth and play music. Which is why it is important for up and coming artists to be able to produce their own music as this is what will set …Double-Up! Adele - Rolling in the Deep (Audiophile 021 Dubstep Refix) & Ruffest - Siyabenzela (Audiophile 021 Kwai Step Remix)
Audiophile 021 is in a remix frenzy at the moment. Before having a chance to put up his last remix, I get a call asking me to include the latest one he just finished. I wish my day job was sitting in a studio all day with unlimited amounts of Red Bull, maybe I would also get …New Featured Artist: Witchboy
Witchboy is the dark side of Nikhil Singh, one-third of the Wild Eyes. Creating what he calls Necro-electro, his music finds itself in the largely unexplored (at least in South Africa) rooms of Witchhouse. Dissonance & distortion colour the sound spectrum. If Jacques Derrida …Music Video: Bittereinder - Slechte Mensen
Brand new video from Bittereinder featuring Dutch rapper Tim Beumers! Angry and dark, the video treatment reflects the mood of this track. Spitting faster than my high school Afrikaans can handle, Ajax delivers some of the tightest rhymes I have heard in that language. Tim …Monday Metallica Madness!!! Battery (Audiophile 021 Dubstep Remix)
Angry dubstep courtesy of Audiophile 021! Some how this remix just works, but I am a bit confused. Should I be bouncing or headbanging?
⚠️ Dead link: the original SoundCloud track — Metallica - Battery (Audiophile 021 Dubstep Remix) …Triple Ticket Giveaway to P.H.Fat @ Assembly!!!
